Education
-Completed a minimum of 60-credit hour Master's in SED-approved counseling program with specified content areas including assessment, psychopathology, counseling theory an dpractice, group dynamics.
-Almost entire 60 hours are in clinical education and preparation
Minimum of 600 clock hours of supervised internship.
Experience
-3,000 clock hours (not including internship hours) supervised experience in SED-approved setting.
-Supervision by a licensed mental health professional.
Examination
-Must pass LMHC exam
Additional Requirement
-Child Abuse Reporting Training.
